Simple Trick For A Better Body (Even When You Don’t Workout!)

January 12, 2017
NO TIME TO WORK OUT? NO PROBLEM!

The “secret” to a better body anytime, anywhere and all the time is this:

USE YOUR CORE AS YOU STAND AND MOVE.

What does this mean?

Paying attention to your lower abs and committing a tiny bit of energy to hugging them in whenever you are standing or moving will quietly transform how you look and feel!

It’s simple, but oh so effective! Here’s what to do:

  1. Take your hand and place it on you abdomen below your navel.
  2. Applying gentle pressure, lightly draw in your lower abs.
  3. Now soften your shoulders and neck, keeping your abs in.
  4. Breathe as normal, but keep hugging in your abs.
  5. Now try walking with this sensation of your abs drawing in.

Becoming conscious of using your abs scaffolds your posture and movements. DO NOT squeeze them in so tightly that you feel constricted. The idea is to learn to use your abs as a part of your everyday activities… I like to think of “hugging” myself with my core.

Finding your abs and using them all the time not only tones the waist and helps you stand up straight, but it also builds enormous strength over time. Your tummy will get flatter, AND you will feel more energized and confident just doing normal stuff!

You may even start hearing “Have you lost weight?” or “You look different/ taller/happier”.

HAPPY DANCING!
